Allied Health Services
Let your loved one gain the confidence and skills they need to thrive. MINDS Allied Health Professionals (AHP) Hub empowers persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) through targeted therapy, intervention and care sessions that support mobility, communication, emotional well-being, and independence.

Our Allied Health Services
At MINDS, our AHP Hub provides therapy to build functional skills, boost emotional resilience, encourage social participation, and promote self-reliance. Our team of psychologists, therapists and social workers adopt a person-centred and multidisciplinary approach, tailoring each session to the unique strengths, needs and goals of every individual.
Areas of Support
Psychology and Behaviour Support
Provides assessment, consultation and interventions for persons with IDD to support emotional regulation, develop adaptive skills and positive behaviours, while building caregiver and staff capacity to implement consistent strategies across environments.
Speech and Language Therapy
Develops personalised communication pathways and strengthens social communication skills, including the use of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems such as Key Word Sign (Singapore), visual boards, and high-tech devices. Supports mealtime safety by fostering independence through adaptive techniques and/or texture modification.
Occupational Therapy
Promotes independence by strengthening skills for daily tasks such as dressing, play, eating, or work-related activities.
Physiotherapy
Enhances mobility, muscle strength and coordination to enable participation in daily activities, while supporting overall health and well-being.
Social Work
Provides holistic, family‑centred support through assessment, care planning, counselling, and guidance on accessing financial and community resources for persons with IDD and their families.
