Woodlands Gardens School
MINDS Woodlands Gardens School (WGS) embraces a collaborative “village” model, bringing together the school, family and community, through a holistic special education curriculum that supports children with intellectual disability (ID) and autism spectrum disorder (ASD). At WGS, your child benefits from diverse programmes thoughtfully designed to develop essential skills, nurture their interests and prepare them for life beyond the classroom.
WGS isn’t just a school—it’s a vibrant community where every child's individual strengths are at the heart of everything we do.

Signature Programmes
Service‑Learning Project
WGS’s Service-Learning Project follows a four-stage learning cycle—reflective observation, experimentation, conceptualisation, and concrete experience. By engaging in real-world activities, students develop independence, social-emotional skills and a sense of civic responsibility.
Project ACT
This ASD-ID programme empowers students with foundational lifelong skills such as self-determination, collaboration, ideation, research, and evaluation. Through Authentic Learning, Creative Choice-making and Teamwork, it prepares students to become resilient, independent and confident contributors to their community.
Language Arts
In partnership with community experts, this programme integrates creative arts into the Communication and Language curriculum. Through songwriting, students explore language concepts, express themselves creatively and build confidence and collaboration skills.
