Since her early teens, Sharon took on the role of a sibling caregiver to her sister with special needs, and often struggled between being an authoritative figure and a fun-loving companion. Despite a 10-year age gap with her sister, Priscilla, who was diagnosed with mild intellectual disability since birth, the sibling pair has built a special and strong bond over the years. Watch this video for a peek at how they express their love and support for each other while navigating through life together.

You can’t pick and choose your family, but you can do the best you can to love them and build your lives with them.
