Life+ Befriender / Skills-Based Volunteer
Key Responsibilities :
Life+ is a pilot initiative to enable and sustain inclusive community living and aging-in-place for PWIDs through tailored client support, future care planning as well as developing community capacities to accept and integrate PWIDs into the community. This pilot is overseen by ILPO (Inclusive Living Project Office) who work with various entities in MINDS.
As befrienders or skills-based volunteers, your main role is to support clients under the Life+ programme in fulfilling some of the goals which they have set. (e.g., upskill in technology or join a community fitness group)

Life+ client’s home, or as arranged with the client – e.g. bowling alley for a bowling session
