Greetings from MINDS Raintree

Dear Caregivers and Parents,

Warm Greetings from MINDS Raintree Special Student Care Centre (SSCC). We are proud to be the first before and after school care in MINDS. We commenced services on 1st February 2019 with ten students and have steadily grown ever since.

We strive to empower persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities to acquire, demonstrate and embrace knowledge and skills that will support them, as life-long learners.

Our team is dedicated to building resilience and fostering care to ensure that the students take with them valuable lessons. We bring out their strengths and embrace every milestone to constantly motivate our students. An environment filled with love and compassion, students grow with confidence.

Our holistic thematic based learning is structured to reinforce the journey of learning. Our curriculum encompasses of art, cookery, discovery, IT, music, sports, literacy, and numeracy. We have created a robust learning experience with outdoor experiential learning to further reinforce learning. We have incorporated the National Library Board’s kidsREAD programme to cultivate the love for reading. Our collaboration with SportsSG will benefit students in exploring multiple sports at the same time work on their gross motor skills.

At MINDS Raintree, we turn disabilities into abilities!

Do explore our webpage and feel free give us a buzz to make an appointment for a tour of our premises.

Parents’ Testimonials

We would like to take this opportunity to thank MINDS Raintree Special Student Care Centre. Our son Sam has been in the SCC since January 2020. He was going through a transitional period from his previous special school to MINDS special school. We had a very difficult time with Sam as he was unable to get adapted to his new school and SCC. All the staffs in the SSCC were very patient and loving towards Sam. They tried their best to help him in all possible ways. We were regularly updated on Sam’s progress. Now he is well adapted with the school and SCC. We do not have any behavioural issues with Sam. We would like to give our special thanks to teachers Shamini and Ramesh. We are very pleased that Sam is in MINDS Raintree Special Student Care Centre.

My granddaughter, Xin Hui is in the MINDS Raintree Special Student Care Centre. She feels very happy and she has made many friends. Now she is more confident and keen in learning. She is happy that the teachers there are friendly and approachable.

Mdm Ng, Caregiver of Lee Xin Hui

Very helpful and friendly teachers. Teachers are easily reachable either by phone or email. Very attentive and engaging towards students and well cared for. Teachers goes above and beyond to ensure that the students are well equipped with materials. The level of care and trust have on student care teachers is so unique and special. I feel honoured to liaise with the teachers as they are professionals and positive people. I feel very confident when my child is in their care. I thank each and everyone who are in this profession where you put your values into action.

Mdm Anjalaidevi, Mother of Mahasari

Having gone through half a dozen childcare and afterschool care, Raintree is a Gold by far. Our son absolutely loves attending the afterschool care where his learning is reinforced and the myriad of activities exposes him to learning outside the classroom. The teachers are to be commended for their unselfish devotion to the care and development of those in their charge. It is also evident that our son's developmental journey has accelerated in their care.
