Overview

Raising a child with special needs is not a solitary journey. At MINDS, we are committed to walk this journey with our fellow caregivers. This commitment permeates in everything we do. Through providing before-and-after-school service in our Special Student Care Centre, caregivers are given greater support where their child with special needs are given opportunities to enrich their knowledge and hone essential skills across several domains beyond their schools’ structured curriculum.

Bringing Learning to Life through Fun and Discovery

At MINDS, our learners are drawn by the cutting-edge activity stations and interactive magnetic walls that add new dimensions and enable them to draw context to their learning in a fun and engaging manner.

A Thematic Approach to Learning

Introducing interesting unifying themes weekly, our students explore the interconnected world by diving into literacy, math, social skills and science and draw connections with the real world and develop deeper appreciation for them.

Creating an Optimal Learning Environment

We believe that learning happens in a strong and conducive environment. Using visual supports and structured schedules, our children with special needs find joy in learning at our autism-friendly learning environment.

Value-Added Enrichment Programmes

From learning journeys to music and movement to information and communication technology, we provide students a wide range of enrichment programmes that support students’ learning and enhance the development of their physical, intellectual, social, and emotional skills.

Multidisciplinary Team of Professionals

MINDS boasts a team of multidisciplinary Allied Health Professionals that provides appropriate interventions to enhance the care and learning capacity of students.
