Our Approach

Life at FGS is filled with amazing fun and discovery. Our students are constantly engaged through programmes, and learning experiences thoughtfully crafted to develop their skills critical for continued success while nurturing their interests and talents.

Arts Programme
We believe that drama is a powerful vehicle for developing their self-confidence, character, and skills across disciplines. Our drama-based curriculum is designed with Applied Drama Practitioner, Mr Michael Cheng, to provide our students endless opportunities to explore their own voices, and forms of expressions confidently in a safe environment.
ASD Programme
Our ASD programme goes beyond teaching. We see autism as a way of life. Adopting international autism-teaching practices, we tailor our learning environment, activities, and teaching approach to maximise learning in students with an autism spectrum disorder.
i-Tile: An Interactive Educational System
Developed by Dr Goh Wooi Boon, Associate Professor of Nanyang Technological University with a team of researchers, our i-Tile interactive educational system develops students’ literacy, numeracy, and collaborative learning skills through meaningful play. The reconfigurable nature of the i-Tile system allows us to adapt and design new learning activities to meet their students’ diverse learning needs.
Providing Inclusive Learning Experiences
Learning at FGS goes beyond the classroom and school. We create inclusive learning experiences through our satellite partnership with Fernvale Primary School (FVPS) where students enhance their skills across domains through meaningful buddy-reading programmes and activities with other children.

Our Co-Curricular Activities

Our robust co-curricular activities provide our students a safe space to engage in their interests and passion while fostering a sense of belonging by connecting them with students of shared interest.

Parents’ Testimonials

MINDS had done a fabulous job in educating my kid and supported her in school as well as her workplace. The school always encouraged her, push her learning abilities, and mould her skill sets as well as her confidence. With these, we are very grateful to the school and her teachers.

Matilda Chan’s parent

As a working mum, the school teachers constantly update me and a catch up in school to organise talk about my child’s progress and understanding more about what the school has put up.
