Every 2 years, Board members are nominated and elected by MINDS members at its Annual General Meeting. The process of recruitment is undertaken by the Nomination Committee to identify potential board members with diverse expertise, professional skillset, social service and caregiver experience, and with a heart for service.
The Board undertakes a self-evaluation survey every 2 years to evaluate its effectiveness, where the results and recommended action plans are discussed at the Board meeting. To help Board members in their effectiveness, a training roadmap with a list of recommended courses is also shared at the start of each new Board sitting.
