Volunteer Opportunities
We welcome people in the community who would like to volunteer in our centre in the following areas:-
- Befriending the trainees
- Providing an assistance to the Training Officers during training sessions, outing, activities and special events/ projects.
- Offering your expertise by conducting workshops for our staff / trainees
- Maintaining the general cleanliness of our premises
- Offering hair cutting services for our clients

Volunteering Positions Avaliable
Position 1
Title: CTDC's In-house Project Coordinator
Purpose: Manage the monthly Jumble Sale and In-house project Sale.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare flyers prior to the actual event
- Get the items ready prior to the event
- Work with a group of 3 clients to manage the project
Qualifications:
- Interest in people
- Ability to communicate
- Ability to delegate responsibility
Relationships:
- Responsible to the Supervisor/Volunteer Coordinator and Head of Centre

Position 2
Title: Swimming Coach/Trainers
Purpose: Assist in swimming lessons
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Training Officer assigned: prepare water activities
- Get the items ready prior to the event
- Work with a group of clients
- Ensure clients' safety at the swimming pool
Qualifications:
- Interest in people
- Ability to communicate
- Ability to swim
Relationships:

Position 3
Title: Community Living Skills Partners
Purpose: Assist the Training Officers during Community Mobility Training
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Training Officer assigned: plan programmes
- Get the items ready prior to the event
- Work with a group of clients
- Ensure clients' safety during the trip
Qualifications:
- Interest in people
- Ability to communicate
- Ability to plan effective programmes
Relationships:
- Responsible to the Volunteer Coordinator, Supervisor and Head of Centre
Time Commitment:
- One year: Every Mondays and Wednesdays

Position 4
Title: CTDC's IT Champion
Purpose: Assist in IT Development
Responsibilities:

- Teaching clients IT skills
- Teaching staff IT skills

Purpose: Befriending the clients
