The Training and Development Centres comprises of specific services for adults with intellectual disabilities, aged 18 years and above. The core focus of the services are to promote the social integration of these adults into gainful mainstream activities, so as to enable them to lead a meaningful life independently.
The TDC's cater to individuals who require greater specialized intervention to enhance their skills of independence in daily living skills, such as personal grooming, toileting, hygiene, adaptive behaviours etc. Extensive training is provided through a multi-disciplinary team to modify behaviours and improve independent living skills so that some may eventually be transferred to sheltered workshops or even prepared for open employment.

Transitional workshops in a simulated environment are set up for pre-vocational training. Here the clients learn to recycle headsets, assist in meals preparation, industrial cleaning and mopping techniques, gardening, ironing, etc to enhance their employability and integration into the workshop environment.
