Achievements

MOE-NCSS SPED Innovation Award

Our school was awarded the MOE-NCSS SPED Innovation Award for our Modern Dance CCA programme in 2007. The programme provides pupils with the opportunity to showcase their talents and creativity through music, rhythm and movement. Pupils are encouraged to be spontaneous in their expression of dance forms. Their public performances have allowed parents as well as members of the public to gain a better insight to the potential and ability of children with special needs.



Scouts

2 scouts took part in the National Scout Lore Quest 2006 Static Display Competition with Mayflower Scout Group o­n 2nd September 2006. They achieved the Gold award and was awarded the overall champion for the Scout Category.

                        
 

Adventure Club

18 pupils took part in the Singapore Disability Sports Council (SDSC) Junior Track and Field Championship held o­n 12 March 2005. They won a total of 25 Golds, 12 Silvers and 7 Bronzes.

2 pupils participated in the Singapore Disability Sports Council (SDSC) Junior Swimming Championship held o­n 2 April 2005. They won 2 Golds and 1 Silver.

Our sportsmen and women did us proud at the 6th Special Olympics Singapore National Games, held from 3 June 2005 to 7 June 2005. Their medal tally is as follows:

Ms Woon Phek Muah (Brownies) and Ms Shireen Osman (Girl Guides) was awarded the Asia Pacific Adult Leaders Achievement Award for Unit Leaders	Ms Gladelind Koo receiving the 5 year Long Service Award in 2008	Mdm Tan Mei Lee receiving the 10 year Long Service Award in 2007
