CCA Groups

Scouts

Activities include singing, games and hiking. Pupils also have the opportunity to interact with the fellow Scouts from other schools during special combined events such as camps.

Art and Craft Club

Pupils learn simple handy craft such as how to do weaving, cross stitches and clay work. Selected pupils are also given the opportunity to participate in art/craft competitions.

Gardening Club

Pupils learn the basics of gardening. They also have the opportunity to participate in nature outings such as to Sungei Buloh.

Sports

Pupils learn the techniques of track & field sports (e.g. sprinting & softball throw), as well as team sports (e.g. basketball & soccer). Selected pupils are also given the opportunity to participate in sports competitions such as the Special Olympics and sports events such as indoor rock climbing.

Music and Movement

Pupils learn to dance as team. They are given the opportunity to perform at school events. Sometimes, they are even invited to perform at public events.

Reading Library and Resource Library

The team takes care of the printed (e.g. storybooks), audio (e.g. CDs), media (e.g. VCDs & tapes) & other hands-on teaching aids (e.g. toys & board games). The resources are mainly stored up in the 2 libraries in the school, where all staff may borrow. Some of the frequently-used resources are distributed to the classes or placed in the staffroom for easy access by the staff.

I.C.T. (Information and Communication Technology)

The team attends to the ICT matters of the school such as updating the school website, taking photos/videos during major school events and any ad-hoc ICT projects and maintenance. Starting year 2008, the ICT club takes in a small group of pupils to train them in using ICT to create things such as using a website to make greeting cards.
