Volunteer Opportunities
GGS welcome volunteers - who may be individuals, school groups, or corporate sponsors. The scope is wide and varied. Some areas of community involvement programmes are:
1. classroom interaction;
2. assistance during water activities at a public swimming pool or during travel skills lessons at public venues;
3. preparing educational materials;
4. developing lesson packages using digital technology;
5. conducting enrichment activities for pupils;
6. conducting skills development courses for staff;
7. maintenance of school premises - eg. painting, cleaning, gardening.

Paya Lebar Air Base is our Corporate Volunteer since 1993. Their volunteers contribute a wide scope of service - including the regular maintenance of our school's premises and accompanying pupils during travel skills lesson.

Personnel from the Jurong Fire Station did a skit on graciousness on the public bus as part of their community service during their Pride & Care Day. They also conducted a basic first aid demonstration such as treating of minor wounds and dressing using a bandage.
