MINDS Youth Group
Started in the early 1970s, the group has since multipled to 6 projects operating in various parts of Singapore to cater to persons with intellectual disability of different ages and support needs. Each project meets every weekend to provide recreational and social activities, and organises annual camps and outings to integrate these clients into society.
The 6 Youth Group projects are:
Ang Mo Kio Project
Meets every Sunday afternoon at Ang Mo Kio TDC
Basic Knowledge Training Group
Meets every Saturday afternoon at Towner Gardens School
Reach Out Project
Meets every Saturday afternoon at SIA-MINDS EDC
East Point Project
Meets every Saturday afternoon at
Towner Gardens School
West End Project
Meets every Saturday afternoon at Jurong Gardens School
Terra Hope Project
