The Social work practice is a process towards empowering and supporting family members and caregivers by utilizing resources within or outside their families to
enhance the well-being and the quality of life of persons with special needs and their family. Social Workers are trained in different theories and techniques
to understand human development and family interaction patterns in order
to work with individuals and families. Qualified social workers must have
a degree (major in Social Work) or other Post Graduate Qualifications
in Social Work such as a Post Graduate Diploma, and fulfil the required
hours of fieldwork and supervision by qualified senior staff.
