The Nurses in Tampines Home are the main caregivers of the residents.
They take care of the Home residents' nursing needs by monitoring their
physical and medical conditions closely. Such close observation and supervision
will allow the Nurses to provide timely interventions to help alleviate
the medical problems presented by the residents through the administration
of medications and sending them for immediate treatment at the clinics
or hospitals.
They also provide assistance to the residents in activities of daily living
(ADL) such as bathing, feeding and grooming. Under the supervision of
the Therapists, they will assist in the training of the residents in ADL
and help administer basic physiotherapy for them as well.
