Volunteer Opportunities
SIA-MINDS EDC has many projects/assignments/activities for volunteers. Currently the volunteers are involved in: -
- Art & Craft
- MINDS youth group
- General maintenance of building (E.g. cleaning of fans, painting... etc)
- Building curriculum resources
- Specific skills (E.g. Teaching dancing, I.T., sports, etc)
During the period of volunteering, volunteers are expected to interact and understand people with Intellectually Disability. They are encouraged to be good role models and when possible be able to transfer, train/teach valuable, specific vocational and/or social skills to our trainees.
