MINDS IDEA EMPLOYMENT DEVELOPMENT CENTRE (IEDC) provides services for adults with intellectual challenges primarily for employment which comprises the following three domains:
Sheltered Employment
Clients engaging in projects and contract work in a sheltered workshop, preparing clients with potential for open employment.
Supported Employment

Open Employment
Clients are placed out to the mainstream society for employment. The objective is for them to attain a life of quality and maximize their participation in society.

Mondays through Fridays - 9am to 4:30pm
IDEA EDC began in 1992 as one of the primary employment development centres providing training and employment for adults with intellectual challenges.
IDEA EDC has a clientele population of above 300 clients.
