Therapist Assistant

Responsibilities

  • Carry out appropriate therapeutic intervention programmes for clients as directed by Supervising Therapist.
  • Work with direct service staff (teachers, training officers, care staff) and caregivers.
  • Clean the PT rooms and apparatus used for treatment (general cleaning daily and thorough cleaning once a month).
  • Maintain the PT equipment and inform the PT when there is need to repair the equipment.
  • Initiate physical activities and assists care staff in proper positioning, handling and seating methods.
  • Work as a team with other staff (e.g. nursing aides, Occupational Therapist aides and Psychologist trainers) in the daily routine of the residents (i.e. PE and feeding etc.).
  • Provide guidance to volunteers who help out in therapy sessions.
  • Keep track of the inventories or items present in the PT rooms and monitors items borrowed by other staff. Keeps the PT informed immediately if anything is amiss.

Responsibilities

  • To assist residents during bathing/ washing times and ensure their good personal hygiene at all times.

Caregivers' Support Executive

Responsibilities

  • To assist in oversee and ensure smooth running of the Centre.
  • Obtain feedback from caregivers on their needs and aspiration.

Corporate Communications Executive/Manager
